TIME TO DRESS UP!
Description: A perfect opportuniy for Halloween fun without the fright of a truly spooky evening. Come for a night of family friendly fun, suitable for all ages - especially elementary and ms students - with special haunted mazes, skits, performances, scavenger hunts and midway games created for families and those who like a little halloween flair. There is something for all to enjoy including amazing food so bring an empty stomach! We encourage everyone to dress up and celebrate with us +++ we kindly ask that costumed weapons and family pets are left at home+++ |
Safety Updates:
This event has been moved inside due to the weather. This is an outside event - masks are optional while visiting the activities on school grounds Hand sanitizer will be located at all stations You can purchase a wrist band and get unlimited entrance to the bouncy houses AND admission to the haunted tour and haunted hay ride. OR you can purchase each event individually. No pets are allowed on the premise. No costumed weapons are allowed on the premise (for example, please keep your plastic ninja swords and nunchucks at home) *** We are in touch with all town officials and will change the protocols if/when it is needed so please check back*** |

Entertainment:
5:00 - 9pm Free Shuttle Van (no shuttle needed for inside event 2023) from NRHS main upper parking lot 5:00 - 8:45pm acappella groups Located at the stage by the main dining tent 5:30pm Haunted Skits/Haunted Maze begin $20 for a wrist band and you can go on the bouncy attractions and shows as often as you'd like 5:45, 6:45pm, 7:45pm Free Magic Show Located on the stage The Sanderson Sisters Scavenger Hunt Free Find the three blind mice and embark on a mystery to solve throughout the site. Parking:
Event has been moved to North Reading HS due to the weather forecast.
No shuttle will be running since the parking lot for the high school is now where the event is taking place.
Both the upper and back of the lower lot at North Reading HS are available for this event
and a FREE shuttle van will run from the upper lot back and forth from the Haunted Playground from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. There will not be general parking at the Batchelder School, There is handi-accessible parking available at the Batchelder, the HS lower lot and upper lot. There will not be street parking.
The Haunted Playground admittance is FREE.
Some activities have a cost associated with them. Others are free. Cash only. Credit cards and venmo can not be used. Purchase a wrist band so you can go in the haunted maze and Adrenalin Rush over and over again. |
NR High School students can volunteer to help for community service hours. Sign up in the NRHS main office.
