Come See two beautiful tales
Sunday, February 24 at 6:30pm Tickets only available at the door Suggested $5 donation 26 Pebbles by Eric Ulloa performs first at 6:30pm On December 14, 2012, Adam Lanza walked into Sandy Hook Elementary School and killed twenty-six innocent souls before taking his own life. These twenty-six innocent deaths, like pebbles thrown into a pond, created ripples and vibrations that were felt far beyond the initial rings. This is the story of those vibrations. Similar in style to The Laramie Project, playwright Eric Ulloa conducted interviews with members of the community in Newton and crafted them into an exploration of gun violence and a small town shaken by a horrific event. This docudrama is a weave of verbatim interview excerpts from the people of Newtown as they recount the ripples that were made in the aftermath of unthinkable tragedy and the resulting push forward towards healing in their community. The events of December 14, 2012 are discussed at length including, but not limited to, the loss of a child, gun violence and suicide. This production uses mature language. Parental discretion is advised. The production contains no graphic violence. "26 Pebbles" takes place at a Newtown, CT Town Meeting six months after the school shooting. Your ticket allows you to view both or just one of these beautiful stories. Come at 6:30 for the first one and stay for both. OR come at 7:10 for The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
Each show is approx 40 minutes in length and includes about a 5 minute set up and tear down. |
